The work EFI Fadder/FCE does is aimed towards Roma people since most of the children and
youth that are in the care of EFI Fadder/FCE are Roma. Most of them are abandoned by their families and are not brought up among other Roma, so they usually feel estranged from the Roma culture.

In the village of Borumblaca, close to Marghita, one of FCE’s employees, also with support from a church in Bristol, England, is responsible for an evangelical and social mission there. Here, Roma people get help to see their value, their possibilities, and their responsibilities. When a father stops drinking the family can be saved from abuse and misery, and when a mother understands the importance of not abandoning their child, a life is saved.
