The School for Special Needs Children in Marghita needed to be improved, offering accessibility, so that the children with physical disability can easily go to the second floor, where classes are located.
Elim Christian Foundation, FCE, wanted to be involved in solving this situation and to guarantee the right to education to all the children. Thus, we contacted a Duch organization, called Stichting Ondersteuning voor Roemeense Kinderen. They in turn contacted a company, Otolift Trapliften from Holland, who donated and installed a stair lift in the building.
It has been a very nice experience and an example that shows that together we can bring joy for the needy.
